US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has confirmed that he will postpone his trip to China đšđł on the weekend, because of a suspected Chinese spy đ”ïžââïž balloonđ.
Blinken stated that the US and China will still hold communication lines, and that it was âdetrimentalâ to discussions that officials planned to have during his visit.
Blinken called the action an "irresponsible act" and a "clear violation of US sovereignty" and international law. He will visit China when things have cleared up.
"The world expects the United States and China to manage our relationship responsibly,â he said, adding that âthe United States will continue to act in a way that reflects that responsibility.â
In a weather report, pilots of the Cessna Citation private jet said they had sighted a balloon 20 miles from Kansas International City. The balloon could be a Chinese spy balloon.
