Surprisingly, all three occurred in China. Starting off at Number 3. is the devastating Tangshan earthquake of 1976 which shook the Northeast of the country. The power of it was shocking, coming at at a 7.6. The casualties, unclear at first, are beloved to reach 655.000. To add to the devastation, 85% of the buildings in the area were destroyed.

Number 2: The Yellow River Flood of 1887 occurred in Northern China and was caused due to heavy rain in the past days. The dikes in the Yellow River couldn't withstand the pressure and added to the huge disasters which followed with 50.000 square miles if croops destroyed, pandemics and food crisis. 2 million people died because of the flood.

Number 1🤤: History repeated itself 44 years later with the China Floods in 1931. A huge drought and a long winter caused massive amounts if snow that melted and the catastrophe went on for 2 months. China's biggest cities were hit by the starvation and cholera pandemic that followed. 4 million people died...
