The World Cup final

Only two teams remain in the World Cup, France, and Argentina. It will be a big final on the 18th of December, at 4 pm. In the Quarter-finals, France triumphed 2:0 against Underdog Morocco, while Argentina beat Croatia 3:0.

The final is also the last World Cup game for Argentinian player Lionel Messi. Messi is already 35 years old and has never won the World Cup, but he was and is a great player. 2014 Argentina lost 1:0 against Germany in the final, 2018 they lost 4:3 against France in the Quarter-finals.

France won the last World Cup and is eager to grab the second title in a row.

Messi confirmed it will be his last World Cup game in an interview: "Yes. Surely yes. There are a lot of years until the next one and I don't think I have it in me and finishing like this is best. Everything I've lived in this World Cup, what people experienced, and how much the people back in Argentina are enjoying it all is very emotional."
