2 people killed in Alabama shooting

2 people were killed in a shooting at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills. Police has the shooter in custody, his identity was not made public. There is no known motive of the shooter. "From what we've gathered from the circumstances of this evening, a lone suspect entered a small group church meeting and began shooting," Vestavia Hills police Capt. Shane Ware said. The police were alerted at around 6:22 p.m. , 3775 Croshaven Drive. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey said: "I am glad to hear the shooter is in custody," Ivey said. "This should never happen -- in a church, in a store, in the city, or anywhere. We continue to closely monitor the situation."  There is also one injured person, currently being treated at the hospital.
