Colorado Avalanche Wins the Stanley Cup !!

Colorado Avalanche wins 2:1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup final. They had not won it since 2001, overall it is their 3rd title, they previously won in 1996, 2001 and 2022. Tampa Bay had won the Cup in the last years. In the first half Steven Stamkos, Tampa Bays captain scores the 1:0 lead. Nathan MacKinnon equalized in the second halfe, setting the score to 1:1. Then, Artturi Lehkonen scored 2:1. The Denver team won the Stanley Cup. It was a great match and really exciting. The second half was not what Tampa Bay wanted. They did not get a single shot at the goal, Colorado was killing them. "What motivated all of us is to make each other champions," said Avalanche captain GabrielLandeskog after the game. "To do it in this building against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, it’s pretty special."
