A few weeks ago huge gang battles flared up in Port au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, leaving more than 200 people dead. The battle has spread to the center of Port au-Prince. Police has now confronted heavily armed gang members, as it was shown on a video from Wednesday. The city's cathedral has caught fire. There are two gangs battling each other, gang G9 and the rival gang G-Pep. It is not confirmed if the cathedral was targeted deliberately or if it was part of collateral damage. Gangs have always been a problem für Port au-Prince, but the fight between G9 and G-Pep is taking it to another level.
