1,033 people have been killed in Pakistan by monsoon rains and severe floods. 348 of the dead were children. 1527 others were injured. The country's National Disaster Management Authority said that 33 million people have been affected by the floods, around 15% of the country's population. 150 kilometers of roads have been destroyed, along with 82,000 homes partially or fully damaged. The army will also be deployed to give out medications and evacuate people, exact numbers are not known. All around the country floor relief centres are being established, helping the provinces especially the worst hit one, Balochistan. The province Sindh has requested 1 million tents, as it has been badly hit by the rain and floods, while Balochistan requests 100,000 tents. Balochistan has been largely cut of from the internet, gas and electricity. Pakistan's prime minister Sharif believes that climate change is a big reason why the floods are getting more dangerous and bigger. Other government officials also believe that. The reconstruction will be a problem for Pakistan, because the country has very little money. The government is hoping for U.N. funds. The monsoon began in mid-June
