Migrant worker dies in Qatar

FIFA confirms the death of migrant worker in the resort used by the Saudi-Arabian Football team. A spokesperson of the FIFA said: "FIFA is deeply saddened by this tragedy and our thoughts and sympathies are with the worker's family. As soon as FIFA was made aware of the accident, we contacted the local authorities to request more details. FIFA will be in a position to comment further once the relevant processes in relation to the worker's passing have been completed."

It is still unknown why the worker died, but Qatar officials said the case was being investigated. In a response to a question about the recent death of migrant workers a Qatar 🇶🇦 official said "death is a natural part of life".
