Russia tries to capture Bakhmut

Russian forces continue to attack the eastern Ukrainian town of Bakhmut. The city of Sloviansk, around 59 kilometres from Bakhmut was also hit by the hard attacks.

“Over the past day, the enemy launched a missile attack on a civilian infrastructure facility in Sloviansk, Donetsk region. The enemy also carried out four air strikes and fired about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems."

Russia will continue its shelling, they still haven't captured Ukraine in over a year and the attack continues slow. There have been no clear Russia advances made in the area.
