US forces have again attacked positions of the Houthi militia in Yemen. According to the US Central Command Centcom, they bombed 15 targets in regions controlled by the Houthi at 5 p.m.

The targets of the attacks are the capital Sanaa, the western port city of Hodeida, as well as Dhamar and Mukayras, reports the TV station Al-Masirah, a mouthpiece of the Houthi militia. These targets included offensive military capabilities of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels. Sanaa was reportedly attacked four times, Hodeida seven times. At least one attack each was carried out against Dhamar and Mukayras.  Citing Yemeni media, the AP news agency reports that the airport in Hodeida was attacked, as well as the Khateib region, where a Houthi military base is located.

"This aggression against the capital and Yemeni regions after the solidarity marches for Lebanon and Gaza is a desperate attempt to terrorize our people," said a Houthi leader at Al-Masirah. Yemen will not be intimidated and will "oppose the enemy with all its might." The Houthi blamed Britain and the USA for the attacks, but Britain denied the accusation and said the Royal Air Force was not involved in this attack. In the past, the USA and Britain have bombed Houthi positions.

Since the beginning of the Gaza war, the Houthi militia has regularly fired rockets or drones at targets in Israel and ships in the Red Sea, most recently they said they fired cruise missiles at the Israeli coastal city of Tel Aviv.

The Houthi militia, which Germany describes as like the Lebanese Hezbollah and the radical Islamic Hamas, both groups classified as terrorist organizations belong to the "Axis of Resistance" against Israel led by Iran. After the killing of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah in an Israeli air strike last week, the Houthi militia has threatened Israel with further attacks.
