Putin is an authoritarian ruler. He is confronted with the elections đł in 2024. Putin has been Russias đ·đș President since 2000 and has stayed in power by killing the opposition and spreading fake news. Every year, Putin wins the election by a wide margin. But this may be about to change:

Due to the ongoing war between Russia đ·đș and Ukraine đșđŠ the Kremlin has hinted to cancel the next elections. Putin can stay in power until 2036 because he changed the constitution. He is expected to run for a 6th term but hasn't said anything about the elections yet. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Putin has the power to remove an election, which would happen for the first time in the Russian Federation. Although he also added that Putin will carry on with the elections.
One thing is sure, there is basically no chance of Putin losing đ because all opposition parties have been outlawed.
