Real Madrid wins the Clásico thanks to a magnificent performance! Superstars Mbappé and Bellingham perform brilliantly. All the news here at Zeitgeist:

Real Madrid enters the match at the top of the table, two points ahead of FC Barcelona. Both teams have already suffered one defeat this season and are searching for top form.
From the start, Madrid applied pressure and were able to break away from their opponents very well. Barcelona lacked some attacking quality due to injuries to Lewandowski and Raphinha. As a result, the Catalans' game was extremely static.
After 13 minutes, Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring, and it would have been a spectacular long-range goal, but the striker was ruled offside. Given the nature of the game, however, this situation won't bother him, as the Frenchman remained cool and fired home after a dream pass from Jude Bellingham. Wojciech Szczęsny couldn't do much, as Cubarsí was sleepy and missed Mbappé.
The lead only lasted 15 minutes, as Barcelona, despite lacking confidence, tried to fight back. Fermín scores the 1-1 after a mistake by Arda Güler.
The lead is restored shortly before halftime. Vinícius makes a quick run and crosses to the right flank for defender Dean Huijsen. He flicks the ball across to Jude Bellingham, and the Englishman simply has to slot it home, and the Bernabéu is buzzing.

Mbappé is actually a reliable penalty taker, and he was awarded a penalty after an unfortunate handball by Eric García. He stepped up in the 52nd minute, but Szczęsny made a phenomenal hip movement and saved the shot.
Barcelona lacked imagination in attack. The only other highlights were the substitution of Vinícius in the 72nd minute, who was extremely upset and ran to the dressing room, and a tangle between the two teams after Pedri received a second yellow card.

Real Madrid deserved to win; they were significantly better, especially in the first half. Barcelona may lose due to their lack of stars, but if they want to challenge for the title, it can't just be talk.
